Who is Eligible for University of Auckland Scholarships:
Candidates must meet all of the following requirements to qualify for University of Auckland Scholarships:
- All countries in the world are eligible.
- Scholarships are not available for students from University of Auckland Foundation Providers (UP Education and Taylors College) or secondary school leavers in New Zealand.
- These scholarships are not available to students enrolled in research master’s programs.
- It is mandatory to speak English.

- A student who is an international student is neither a citizen, permanent resident, nor a resident visa holder from New Zealand or Australia.
- It is not possible to defer the Scholarship to the following semester. A new application must be completed.
- To be enrolled as an “on-campus” student, students must be physically present on campus. Distant learners are ineligible for enrollment.
- Scholarships may be held in conjunction with other scholarships
- If you are an international student with 120 points or more or if you have an undergraduate degree (with a secondary or post-secondary education outside of the U.S.), you must submit this form.
